The cornerstone of our practice is based on PREVENTION and developing long term relationships. A comprehensive exam is an important diagnostic tool and helps us to fully understand your medical and oral health. The Complete Exam and Diagnosis include the following:

Review your medical and dental history

Clarifying your concerns, wants and expectation and/or problems

Dental examination, evaluating condition of teeth and or restorations

Once your examination is completed, Dr. Chernoff will present his findings and recommendations. He welcomes your comments, questions and concerns. Together you can decide on a plan that is right for you.
Oral hygiene care and prevention can be recommended and will be thoroughly explained.
You may desire whiter teeth and tooth whitening or tooth bleaching is available.
If decay is present in any tooth, you will be asked to return for caries treatment. The different materials available in these procedures will be presented and explained.
Bonding and porcelain veneers can close spaces and can create a more beautiful smile.
Porcelain crowns and onlays and other esthetic dentistry can restore broken teeth, or teeth weakened with mercury, silver filings.
Implants can provide non-removable teeth to those who have lost teeth.
Bite problems can be solved.
TMJ problems can be solved or managed.
If you are wearing your teeth down because of bruxism, a night guard may be the best device to prevent further damage to your teeth.
